Primary: Back, Arms (erector spinae, latissimus, biceps brachii)
Secondary: Shoulders (deltoid, rhomboids)

This exercise trains especially the upper back, which determines the contour of the back significantly. Changes in the inclination angle change automatically the exercise stimulus.

Sling Training Bauchübung

Starting Position

The body is leaning back while the back is kept
straight. The arms are in an inclined suspension,
while the palms are facing down. The body
weight is placed on the heels.

Final Position

One arm is stretched, while the other arm is
bent at the elbow. The body is slightly raised
and palms are facing down.

Movement 1.

One arm is bent at the elbow joint strongly. The elbow remains at shoulder height.

Movement 2.

The arm is again extended and then the other arm is bent at the elbow strongly.

Hint

Select a non-slip surface. Perform the exercise dynamically yet controlled. The greater you
choose the angle, the more intense the exercise. The body remains straight throughout
the exercise.
